2008 SEMA Show: Four customized Ford F-150 trucks to debut in November

DeWalt Contractor

The truck display on the SEMA exhibit will be equally exciting, with four F-150s covered in the newest, out-of-this-world gear. The DeWalt Contractor truck highlights a full line of work-truck parts on a single vehicle, including an on-board tool inventory system. The Fahrenheit F-150 by X-Treme Toyz concentrates on off-road excitement with a lift kit, big knobby tires and personalized graphics. For city folks, Street Scene Equipment is exhibiting a 2009 model truck with a more metropolitan sensibility, lowered, body-accessorized and extremely luxurious. Lastly, the Hi-Pa Drive F-150 substitutes the standard 320 hp (238 kW) V8 with a set of four in-wheel electric motors, rated in excess of 600 hp (400 kW).
