2008 Vw Scirocco by Oettinger
It’s been a while since we saw some quality tuning but today it seems it’s our lucky day! Oettinger, the great German tuner specialized in Vw vehicles, unveiled the tuning kit for the recently launched Scirocco. The new kit consists of Aero Flaps for the front splitter, new side and a rear air diffuser. At the interior we can find carbon-fiber inserts, stainless steel kick plates, finest floor mats and aluminium pedals.
If you are not impressed about this body kit then you may be interested of what’s under the hood. There we can find a 1.4-liter TSI engine delivering an impressive 200 hp from 160 hp and the 2.0-liter FSI engine, found also on the Golf V GTI and delivering 200 hp, boosted to an astonishing 240 hp. Of course this is not all! Oettinger is currently working at a new kit for the 2.0-liter FSI engine which will make it capable to deliver 350 hp and 470 Nm of torque! Of course, with these number the car has to be able to stop in time and it does, due to the larger brakes installed.
Also a specially tuned adjustable suspension was added as well as a new 4-pipe stainless steel exhaust system in order to deliver a better sound of the engine. The kit is completed by the 20 inch Oettinger type RXX alloy wheels. As usual, all components are manufactured from high quality RIM to OEM standard and will be available from December 2008.
