Finally! The waiting is over because today the 2009 Bmw Z4 Roadster was officially unveiled! The new vehicle which will make its debut at the 2009 North American International Auto Show on January 11, has returned more powerful and more stylish than ever before. The new Z4 offers a unique combination of elegance and supreme comfort but also a new two-piece lightweight hardtop which is a premiere at the German manufacturer, this vehicle being the first which uses this system.
As you can see the new coupe-cabriolet follows the same line of the classic design of course, with new and modern flowing lines. The front comes with the new grille seen at the new 2009 Bmw 7-Series, with new air intake and the dual round headlights. The new roadster comes with two engines: the 3.0-liter twin turbo (Z4 sDrive35i) capable to develop 300 hp at 5,800 rpm sprinting from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in just 5.1 seconds (optional seven-speed double clutch sport automatic transmission in 5.0 seconds) while the top speed is limited to 130 mph or 210 km/h (150 mph or 241 km/h when equipped with the optional Sport Package); the 3.0-liter turbo (Z4 sDrive30i) capable to develop 255 hp at 6,600 rpm providing a sprint from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in just 5.6 seconds (with optional sport automatic in 6.0 seconds) while the top speed is electronically limited to 130 mph or 210 km/h (150 mph or 241 km/h when equipped with the optional Sport Package).
