2009 Fisker Karma pricing announced

From its intial price of $80,000 and upwards it was altered to about $87,900 but together with the price tag the specs are made available. The Fisker Karma will receive two electric motors as a component of its "Q-drive" powertain system, and they support a 265 hp GM Ecotec turbocharged 4-cylinder for an overall total of 408 horses and torque of up to 959 lb-ft.
The car can accelerate from standstill to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 5.8 seconds in full sport mode and can reach a maximum speed of 125 mph (201 km/h). It has a range of 50 miles when switched to an all electric mode, where it receives energy from its on-board lithium-ion battery pack. Manufacturer is set for an annual of 15,000 vehicles when the line starts rolling; however, it is already sold out until the middle of 2010. More details will be provided as they become available.
