2009 Honda Stream receives the RST version
The Japanese carmaker Honda has given the Honda Stream a mid-life modification that consists of a redesigned front bumper, a fresh grill, a modified suspension, an improved profile and various trim choices for the interior of the car. The changes are subtle at best but Honda added the new RST version to the model line in an attempt to provide the compact MPV with an R-type character.
This does not include powerplant upgrades but only exterior styling that consists of a new rear bumper with integrated air diffuser and special taillights, fresh 17-inch alloy wheels, ergonomic seats, sportier interior trim that comes with aluminum embellishments and contrasting red stitching on the leather steering wheel and gear knob together with a sportier suspension arrangement. Honda removed the third row seating from the compact MPV in keeping with its sporty character and for weight reduction purposes. The changes done on the RST do not really amount to much since it still comes with the same 140hp 1.8-liter and 150hp 2.0-liter i-VTEC powerplants. Photo gallery after the jump!
