2009 Lexus IS-F by Wald International: official specs and details

Wald International, a Japanese tuning company and provider of a broad range of styling and performance packages for all Japanese-made cars on the market, is currently focusing on the latest high-performance sedans to come out from Lexus. Consequently, the restyling demonstrates some unique Wald touches together with a style exclusive to the IS-F.

The package for the IS-F provides a considerably more belligerent appearance for the model for owners who are not content with the factory’s more reserved though beefy appearance. However, the Black Bison pack still raises the level of aggressive look higher with carbon-fiber finishes. All the fittings, materials, finishes and additions look excellent, so far. The front face of the modified IS-F looks faster in contrast to the production model with the installation of larger and more angular front intake vents with separate brake duct and a dual lower splitter. Flowing to the rear wheels (which have Wald’s shark-gill extractor vents behind them) is a slightly broader side-sill treatment. Downforce is enhanced with a bespoke diffuser under the rear end paired with the rear wing. The front extractor behind the front wheel remains the same. The IS-F kit, apart from the rear spoiler, builds on the basic look of the car while adding more aggressive styling in keeping with the potent engine. Photo gallery after the jump!
