The carmaker has announced the pricing for the latest Peugeot 308 CC to begin at less than ￡20,000. The 1.6-liter VTi 120 entry level in Sports trim will fetch a sticker price of ￡19,495 when it becomes available this June although the carmaker will be offering 100 special edition versions beginning May ahead of the car's main introduction. The GT100 models will come with the most potent engine in the range, the 1.6-liter THP 150.
All the GT100 models will receive the top spec GT trim that comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, parking sensors and the Airwave neck heating system together with special edition GT100 mats, badging and door sills in chrome. Half of the cars will be black and the other half will be finished in white. The price tag of the 308 CC GT100 is ￡23,595, a premium of ￡100 above the regular GT trim.
In between the Sport and GT specs will be the SE trim which comes with an additional 17-inch,, air-conditioning, cruise control and automatic rain sensor and headlamps. In contrast to the 307 CC, two diesel engines are now available to buyers in the forms of 108bhp 1.6-liter or 138bhp 2.0-liter units. For the HDi 110 Sport, pricing will begin at ￡20,495 and for the HDi GT it will begin at ￡24,295.
