2009 Scuderia Toro Rosso STR4 unveiled

This is the fourth season for the Scuderia Toro Rosso in the Formula One series and it‚ full of promise when it finished sixth place in last year‚ Constructors‚Äô Championship with highest points garnered of 39 due partly to the team‚ first victory at the Italian Grand Prix.
In 2005, Red Bull joined the F1 series and instantly became a headliner throughout the season with the announcement at the end that it had purchased the Minardi team to come up with the Scuderia Torro Rosso. The motivation for Red Bull in taking over the Minardi team was the desire to find cockpits for the most gifted rooky drivers coming out from its Young Driver Program. The effectiveness of the young drivers’ program was demonstrated by the young Sebastian Vettel last year and is hoped will be continued this season with Sebastien Buemi, an even younger driver. In Formula One, continuity is essential and the team still has Franz Tost as the team leader and Giorgio Ascanelli at the technical aspect, while Sebastien Bourdais is in the driver lineup.
