2009 Skoda Octavia Facelift U.K. pricing announced

The new Octavia will be opened by Skoda early next year together with an wide-ranging exterior and interior modification, taking the tremendously successful model current with the brand's current series. Average price increases of the latest, enhanced Octavia are £473 for the Octavia Hatch and £478 for the Octavia Estate above the retiring version. The new Octavia has received a battery of considerable design alterations which consist of dynamic, sweeping headlights and complimentary front fog lights, fresh retractable door mirrors and body color-matching bumpers and side moldings.
Upgrading go well beyond a typical facelift with the latest Octavia profiting from a partly remodeled inside which highlights a series of fresh steering wheels, stereo systems and upholstery. The current Octavia also adopts the S, SE and Elegance trim naming system from the New Superb and is equipped with new alloy wheels and two new paint color finish: Arctic Green Metallic and Aqua Blue Metallic. An all-new 1.4 TSI 122 hp motor will substitute the present 1.6 FSI 115 hp motor and the 2.0 FSI 200 hp motor with DSG transmission will be installed on the Octavia vRS. The Skoda Product Marketing Manager, Warren Richards, said: "The new Octavia is a thoroughly contemporary car which sits perfectly within our current range. As well as modernised looks, it features a whole host of new features that will appeal to today's car buyers."
