Patterned after the all-new 2009 Toyota Yaris Five-Door Liftback, the Yaris Five-Door Tailback concept highlights efficiency and youthful sophistication. Efficiency is highlighted through the automatic rear suicide doors and rear split tailgate. The exterior highlights robust styling modifications including a custom wide body accessories that improves the front and rear fascia with a center exit exhaust, grille, and widened front and rear fender flairs that integrates new full length side rocker panels. The custom hood and freshly designed rear spoiler add to the youthful styling of the Yaris 5 Door Tailgate concept. Along with the modified body is a set of DPE wheels that highlight eleven inch wide rear wheels with a five and a half inch lip and are covered in Nitto tires, Rotora big brake kit, and Tanabe lowering springs. Custom mixed green with gold metal flake external paint, supplied by Sherwin Williams, further improves the athletic styling. The Yaris 5 Door Tailback concept also highlights a compressed natural gas system (CNG). As a green tuner, this dual-fuel concept provides the capabilty to switch from the vehicle's combustion engine to its CNG system with the press of a button. The CNG tank and custom casing is located in the rear of the vehicle and is revealed as the rear tailgate is powered open. The vehicle's interior boasts a remarkable Pioneer audio/visual system. Even as the lower monitor displays a range of digital gauges, both monitors have the ability to show movies and videos which can be played via the iPOD included. The trunk area accommodates a custom amplifier and subwoofer casing. In addition, custom upholstery embellish the insider with gray suede and black leather front and rear seats with yellow stitching that adds to the youthful attraction of the concept. A gray suede interior theme is brought throughout the vehicle; on the headliner, sun visors, and doors. The rear seats highlights a 60-40 ratio split functionality and tilts, slides and folds flat, a feature offered on the Yaris 5-Door Liftback.
