2009 Vw Golf Plus makes its debut at Bologna Motor Show

2009 Vw Golf PlusToday, Volkswagen has revealed the second generation Golf Plus in Italy at the Bologna Motor Show. The upgraded development of the most current Golf Plus form a connection to the body design of the sixth generation Golf hatch and offers a unique and lively look. The front is overwhelmed by the horizontally aligned group of radiator grills with two high-shine black cross-bars and an incorporated Volkswagen logo, in the middle of modified headlights. External alterations in style persist with a somewhat lower silhouette in contrast to the preceding generation and with freshly developed incorporated roof rails. At the back, the latest Golf Plus has a completely color-coded remodeled bumper and revised 'cherry red' rear lights integrating LED technology. The outside styling enhancements are supported by a series of new wheel and tire options, as well as 18-inch Volkswagen Individual's 'Bilbao' alloy wheels. In the passenger compartment, more enhancements have been created and the latest Golf Plus attains a whole new level of quality while remaining to be one of the most useable and adaptable vehicles in its category. More details and photos after the jump! Fresh covering materials and details are brought over from the new Golf, while clearly distinct white backlit instruments, fitted with brushed chrome surrounds, steering wheel options and air conditioning systems are identical to those in the most current Golf and Passat CC. Powertrains are yet to be established but a lineup of highly developed gasoline and diesels put in further enhancement to the redesigned version, with enhanced levels of fuel efficiency and lowered emissions. Gasoline and diesel models are both mated to either a 5- or 6-speed manual or a 6- or 7-speed DSG box. A gasoline option will be a 1.4-liter 122 PS TSI unit which is predicted to bring back 44.8 mpg with emissions of carbon dioxide of 146 g/km and a maximum speed of 124 mph. Common rail TDI powertrains, all equipped with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) will be offered with yields ranging between 90 PS and 140 PS. The 2.0-liter TDI 140 PS has a ceiling speed of 127 mph, and is anticipated to discharge just 135 g/km while bringing back 55.4 mpg. VW's ParkAssist will be offered for the first time on the Golf Plus. The ParkAssist has the capability of operating the steering mechanically for the duration of reverse parallel parking exercises. Available also as an option is a rear-looking camera that is fixed at the back of the VW roundel located on the trunk cover. Presently, the system available on the new Golf, Tiguan and Passat CC, broadcasts an image and explicit guidelines to the radio or navigation monitor located on the dashboard to help park the vehicle safely. There will be a later announcement concerning prices, engines and specs for the latest Golf Plus as we are nearing the vehicle's UK opening in the Spring of 2009. 2009 Vw Golf Plus 2009 Vw Golf Plus 2009 Vw Golf Plus 2009 Vw Golf Plus 2009 Vw Golf Plus 2009 Vw Golf Plus 2009 Vw Golf Plus 2009 Vw Golf Plus 2009 Vw Golf Plus 2009 Vw Golf Plus 2009 Vw Golf Plus 2009 Vw Golf Plus 2009 Vw Golf Plus 2009 Vw Golf Plus 2009 Vw Golf Plus
