2009 Vw Golf Plus makes its debut at Bologna Motor Show

Today, Volkswagen has revealed the second generation Golf Plus in Italy at the Bologna Motor Show. The upgraded development of the most current Golf Plus form a connection to the body design of the sixth generation Golf hatch and offers a unique and lively look. The front is overwhelmed by the horizontally aligned group of radiator grills with two high-shine black cross-bars and an incorporated Volkswagen logo, in the middle of modified headlights. Common rail TDI powertrains, all equipped with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) will be offered with yields ranging between 90 PS and 140 PS. The 2.0-liter TDI 140 PS has a ceiling speed of 127 mph, and is anticipated to discharge just 135 g/km while bringing back 55.4 mpg. VW's ParkAssist will be offered for the first time on the Golf Plus. The ParkAssist has the capability of operating the steering mechanically for the duration of reverse parallel parking exercises. Available also as an option is a rear-looking camera that is fixed at the back of the VW roundel located on the trunk cover.
