You can bet that if there's a new car model coming soon, leaked photos are bound to hit the internet before it arrives. We've already seen the 2010 Acura RDX photos earlier this month but here are more updates to what we could expect. As you can see, it has the new shield grille common to the rest of the Acura lineup. However, the new face has reshaped fog lamps and air intakes along with its bottle-opener grille, which has also been applied to the TSX, TL and RL sedans.
What's significant about the 2010 model is the introduction of a new front-wheel drive model that carries a base price of $32,520, which is $2,000 less than the Super-Handling AWD version.
This front-drive version would boost fuel economy compared to the all-wheel drive model, which has been the only version available since the compact SUV was launched for 2008. The new version gets 17/22 mpg, midpack for vehicles in its class.
Both models are powered by the same 240hp 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission. The new model also has USB connectivity and stereo Bluetooth audio; ambient lighting; and a navigation system update with rearview camera updates and real-time traffic.
