The new Audi A1 subcompact has been retuned by ABT to be cool, trendy, and extravagant, according to an ABT release. The hatchback has been restyled in many ways. In particular, ABT's A1s come in Klecks, High-Voltage, and Aloha designs with 17- or 18-inch ABT Z Titan wheels. ABT installed a double-pipe sports rear muffler and new springs. And then ABT upgraded the basic 1.2-liter 86-horsepower engine to deliver 115hp. Meanwhile, the 122-horsepower 1.4-liter engine was tweaked to generate 150hp. Both versions of the 1.6-liter diesel were given an extra 20hp. Klecks, which literally means "splash," would explain the white paint accents on the bright red A1. Considered to be the most toxic the High-Voltage design gets a full body kit, spoiler, special mirror covers, and matching floor mats. The Aloha features lavender-colored side skirts. ABT's visual customization is described by many to be more tasteful than other tuning packages.
