2010 Audi A3 2.0-liter TDI making U.S. debut this year

2010 Audi A3 2.0-liter TDI
Just recently, a brand new and highly competitive 2010 Audi A3 2.0-liter TDI has been officially presented by Audi. The madeover vehicle, which premiered last year and designated as a "highly efficient diesel luxury car," gets 40 mpg on the highway and comes with 14 0hp and 236lb-ft of torque generated by a 4-cylinder diesel powerplant. Audi sees this new model as a direct rival of the Bmw 1-series, Mini Cooper S, Toyota Prius, Volvo C30 and S40 and Honda Insight.
It is not certain whether the customers of the aforementioned brands are willing to quickly change sides with the A3 considering that the pricing for the A3 diesel has not yet been disclosed and the pricing for the gasoline variant is about $4000 higher than that of the Mini Cooper S. It is apparent that Audi's selling point is the "Top Safety Pick" award that the A3 has garnered plus the fact that this vehicle comes with the popular McPherson suspension system.
Other features of the newest Audi are: rear daytime LED lights, a steering system equipped with speed sensitive sensors, and an overall rigid ride, plus satellite radio, hill-hold assist, seats and steering wheel in leather, and 17 inch alloy wheels. Also, the car comes with a dual-clutch S-tronic transmission with AWD enabled and optional xenon lights. Pricing will be made available later and selling will begin at the end of this year or early next year.
