Arriving in showrooms this September is the new 2010 Audi Q7. Pricing for the 2010 model, which receives interior and exterior upgrades, starts at $47,725, including destination. Notably, the amount, which is for the entry-level 3.6-liter V6 model, is about $3,500 more than the current model. The price increase can be justified with the model‚ improvements. Take a look at the new LED running lights, taillights, or optional LED turn signals.
Major exterior changes are the revised front and rear fascias and a new grille insert. Interior improvements include decorative dash inlays, additional ambient lighting, and optional ventilated front seats. The new Q7 also receives Audi's upgraded third-generation MMI, with 3-D navigation displays and Sirius traffic updates.
Unchanged are its engine options: a base 3.6-liter V6, the 3.0-liter turbo-diesel TDI V6, and the top-of-the-line 4.2-liter V8 model. The TDI model was introduced just last spring and provides good fuel economy (17/25 mpg city/highway) from a rather portly SUV. The Q7 TDI Quattro starts at $51,725 and the top-spec 4.2 Quattro model is priced from $61,825.
