2010 Bentley Azure T Convertible
The Bentley Azure T represents, according to the manufacturer, the most elegant four-seater convertible in the world and honestly, looking at the vehicle we definitely agree with these guys. The new vehicle comes with the iconic 6.0-litre V8 engine connected to a six-speed ZF automatic transmission with sophisticated locking torque converter provides fast yet ultra-smooth gearshifts and makes it capable to deliver an impressive 500 hp and 1000 Nm (738lb ft) of torque. With these numbers the car can hit 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds (60 mph in 5.2 seconds), 160 km/h in 12 seconds (100 mph in 12.1 seconds) while the top speed is limited to 288 km/h (179 mph).
The car features 20 inch 5-spoke wheels wrapped in 255/40 ZR20 Pirelli P Zero tyres, Le Mans front wing vents, a new dark tint matrix grille, a retractable Flying B mascot, a Bentley Jewel fuel filler cap, a twin exhaust tail pipes and a choice of 42 paint colors. At the interior, besides the premium audio system delivering the world's best in-car sound stage and featuring 10 speakers, a dual channel sub-woofer and an 1100 Watt amplifier, the car comes fitted with the fines leather, drilled alloy pedals, instrument faces in black, iPod/USB interface and a stylish knurled & chromed gear knob.
In order to stop this monster, the engineers installed new brake discs: 420 x 40 mm (front) and 356 x 28 mm (rear), the largest fitted to any production car on sale today. The safety is also very important and due to this a new Traction Control system was installed as well as an ESP logic system. Operated hydraulically at the touch of a button, the impressive, three-layer canvas roof is elegantly stowed beneath the rear parcel shelf in a matter of just 25 seconds.
