Although we usually consider Mansory body kits a little bit too much for a car, we honestly tell you that we were impressed by the firm’s new tuning program for the 2010 Bmw X5 M. As you can see from the photos, the new body kit consists of a new front bumper with aggressive air inlets and integrated daytime running LEDs, an extra light engine bonnet made from carbon fiber, side skirts, a rear roof spoiler, a completely new rear bumper with integrated air diffuser and sports exhaust system, featuring four stainless-steel tailpipes.
Under the hood, the impressive 4.4-liter biturbo V8 engine was boosted from 555 hp and 680 Nm, to an impressive 670 hp and 950 Nm of torque. With these numbers, the car can accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 300 km/h or 186 mph. The design of the car is completed by the M10 silver monoblock cast wheels wrapped in tyres of the dimension 315/25R23. Inside, the car features a newly designed sports steering wheel and can be customized for every taste with new additions such as new upholstery as well as personalized floor mats.
“The X5 is just the beginning,” announced Managing Director Michael Stein. “In response to the many requests of our importers and customers, we will very shortly be developing an exclusive programme for the bodywork, performance and interior of other selected BMW models. Other fascinating refinements for the BMW X6 as well as for the BMW 7 series are soon to follow.”
