2010 Buick LaCrosse deliveries delayed due to quality concerns

If you're one of the younger buyers targeted by Buick to purchase its high-profile 2010 Buick LaCrosse, you would have to wait a few weeks more as their arrival got delayed due to manufacturing quality concerns. Mark LaNeve, GM's VP of U.S. Sales, said that 300-400 cars were shipped in August but future deliveries have been stopped until Buick works out the so-called quality issues. No details were provided.
LaNeve added that the issues "were not serious" but that Buick decided to delay their arrival to make sure that the customers won't experience any problems.
Said to be the most important vehicle launched by Buick in decades, the all-new LaCrosse is meant to rival the Volvo, Lexus and Acura. Buick intends for the mid-size luxury sedan to attract people in their mid-40s and 50s, definitely younger than the brand's 68-year-old median age buyer last year.
