Details of Fiat's 2010 Panda were released recently boasting of enhancements at both the front and the interior compared to the current model. The same body color grille is available on the 4x4 version and a silver satin finish can be observed on the roof rack plus new wheel design. There are many gasoline and diesel engine options available, with power ranging in between 54 and 100 horsepower. Although alternative power sources such as LPG will most probably be offered as well. There will also be a 1.2-liter, which produces 69hp and complies with Euro 5 regulations.
It emits only 113 grams of CO2 per kilometer. The engines will be mated to either a manual or a Dualogic transmission. Exterior colors are available in yellow, blue and red. Fiat Panda, which officially rolled out in 2003, is currently offered with 4 engine configurations (excluding the units available on the special versions).
There is a 1.1-liter gasoline option developing 54hp at 5,000 rpm and 88 Nm of torque at 2,750 rpm, allowing the car to go from zero to sixty in 15 seconds. If you're only looking out for the best, the top-of-the-range configuration is the 1.4-liter unit that develops 101hp and 131 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. This unit releases 154 grams of CO2 per kilometer, while providing a maximum speed of 115 mph (185 km/h). As for fuel consumption, the engine achieves 27 mpg (8.7 l/100km) city and 44.4 mpg (5.3 l/100km) highway.
