2010 Ford Fusion pricing announced

2010 Ford Fusion SportEven before the outstanding performance of Ford in the recent 2008 LA Auto Show, and already it is making front page news once more with the its new 2010 Fusion. Lately, Ford opened a mini-site to push the revised mid-size sedan, and supplied therein is pricing for all five versions. Everything starts with the base Fusion S model that has a tag of $19,270 and is equipped with the latest 2.5L four-cylinder and a six-speed manual.

The series tops out at the Fusion Hybrid, which begins at $27,270. That’s just slightly higher than the Toyota Camry Hybrid, which starts at $26,150, but it is pointed out by AutoblogGreen, that Ford’s Hybrid comes with the latest EcoAssist gauge cluster that may prove to be worth the extra money to consumers. Fusion Hybrid’s fuel economy in city driving, is measured at 39 mpg, which is 6 mpg higher than the Camry Hybrid, which offsets the Fusion’s slight excess in its price tag.
