The bottom price for a standard V6-propelled 2010 Mustang is said to be $21,845, inclusive of delivery charge. Its closest rival, for the sake of comparison, will certainly be the Camaro, which begins at $22,995. The other resurrected pony vehicle is the Dodge Challenger, which in standard SE configuration starts with a $22,545 price tag. A standard V6 unit comes with each of these entry-level models, although the Challenger is fitted only with a 4-speed automatic while its rivals offer a manual. Anyone desiring an open-air experience has no other alternative but to decide on the Ford, as this is the only top-down contemporary muscle car offered by the Blue Oval. Going a step further to the V8-propelled Mustang will cost you a reported $27,995, much cheaper than the V8-propelled $30,995 sticker Camaro. In turn, the entry of Dodge begins at $30,545 for the standard R/T version and its HEMI V8 engine. This is not a "fair" comparison, for sure, since the Mustang GT is low on horsepower in contrast to its rivals, however, the GT's very low pricing is sufficient to put the Ford car at the top of sales graphs.
