2010 Ford Mustang receives the stylish glass roof
A panoramic glass roof costing $1,995 has been unwrapped by Ford as an option for the most current re-designed 2010 Mustang model. The glass roof is intended to provide a driving experience comparable to that of a convertible.
The special engineering that went into the glass roof enables it to filter 90 percent of the sun’s infrared rays and up to 96 percent of ultraviolet rays. Thus, the Glass Roof Mustang is the only coupe coming with a sun protection factor of 50. It has been scientifically determined that exposure to sun or bright light regulates the body’s production of melatonin, a mood-regulating hormone that adjusts the daily cycle of sleep and wakefulness. In other words, riding the Glass Roof Mustang will be good for you! Photo gallery after the jump!
