2010 Honda CR-V facelift to be uncovered in September

The new CR-V will be publicly launched on September 17 but Honda has given us a glimpse of the upgraded model. Obviously, there were several changes made on the front bumper, the grille and the bonnet. Honda Australia spokesman Mark Higgins said that a minor model change is expected in the 2010 model but that Honda will provide details when the launch date nears.
The Honda CR-V is currently offered with three engine configurations -- one diesel and two petrol. The 2.2-liter CDTi unit develops 140 horsepower at 4,000 rpm and 250 lb-ft of torque at 2,000 rpm, making the car capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.3 seconds, with a maximum speed of 116.2 mph (187 km/h).
On the other hand, the 2.0-liter option generates a maximum output of 150 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 141 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm, making the car go from zero to sixty in 10.2 seconds. Only 192 grams of CO2 per kilometer is released. The maximum speed is 118.1 mph (190 km/h). Lastly, the 2.4-liter configuration produces 169 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 160 lb-ft of torque at 3,600 rpm. This engine achieves a fuel consumption of 23.1 mpg (10.2 L/100Km) city and 30.2 mpg (7.8 L/100Km) highway.
