2010 Kia Sorento crossover to be manufactured in the U.S.

A first for Kia! The Korean automaker announced that it will build the all-new 2010 Sorento Crossover at a new facility in West Point, Georgia. The first of the next-generation Sorentos will roll off the new assembly line later this year. Kia continues to build on its success story in the US with this development. It is seen to be a big step towards bringing more products into the market and cutting costs. While we're waiting for the chance to judge Kia's domestically built vehicle, we'll make do with waiting for the Sorento's debut in Frankfurt and details on the U.S.-spec model.
