Subaru Impreza Design Concept

Subaru unveiled today at the 2010 LA Auto Show the new Impreza Design Concept, a new car that previews the company’s "Confidence in Motion" design and brand strategy. As expected the new car previews also the next-generation Impreza, and honestly to tell you we love it. As you can see from the photo, the new car carries a hexagonal grille with spread wings in the center and hawk eye-style headlights, showing Subaru’s the new design direction. The rear end continues theme showing a low-and-wide stance meant to convey reliability, security, and safety. The taillamp design features a unique layering and gradation to create the impression of depth.

The design is completed by the new Sky Silver exterior color, but also by the new high-luster silver aluminum wheels featuring a five-twin-spoke design. The interior of the car is described by Subaru using three words: Dynamic, Enticing and Secure. The instrument panel is integrated with the door trim and armrests, and suggests a sporty and comfortable driving. The interior offers enough room for four persons.

Dark blue piping and double stitching accent the leather. The dashboard features a large display that combines the functions for navigation, vehicle information and audio. The display features touch panel technology, which makes it very easy to use. Some of the safety features include the EyeSight system, capable to increase visibility and networked with the latest in collision-prevention technology. The car is powered by a combination of the 2.0-liter naturally aspirated Boxer engine with a Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
