Be the judge of whether pricing of the 2010 Lexus GS sedan lineup that starts from $45,000 is justified by its significant number of new features. The primary features that are new to the model include iPod/USB connectivity, streaming audio via Bluetooth and an integrated XM satellite radio receiver that are now added to the standard Lexus Premium Sound System. The optional Lexus Navigation system features Voice Command casual-language voice recognition and Bluetooth phonebook download capability. In addition, the navigation system will be offered with integrated XM NavTraffic/Weather capability and has a complimentary 90-day trial subscription. On non-navigation equipped vehicles, Safety Connect comes as standard.
Meanwhile, Lexus Enform, which automatically comes with Safety Connect, is only available with navigation-equipped vehicles. A one-year trial subscription is offered for both systems. We don't know about you but we're all enthusiastic about the color changes for the 2010 lineup. Black Sapphire Pearl is replaced by Deep Sea Mica; Golden Almond Metallic is replaced by Satin Cashmere Metallic; and Cashmere is replaced by Parchment leather interior.
Active front headrests are offered as standard on 2010 GS 350 and GS 460 models. In a press statement, Lexus said that all the new vehicles have a 48-month/50,000-mile basic limited warranty with roadside assistance for 48-months/unlimited miles. In addition, powertrain and restraint system coverage is provided for 72 months/70,000 miles. A very interesting treat is the 72-month protection against corrosion perforation, regardless of mileage. Pricing for the 2010 Lexus GS range as it follows: GS 350 RWD: $45,000; GS 350 AWD: $46,950; GS 460: $53,470.
