The debut for Mazda's upgraded CX-7 crossover is scheduled next month and will be priced from 25,785 British pounds ($40,700). Initially, the car will be offered with a single engine configuration, a 2.2-liter diesel that releases 171 bhp. Exterior enhancements include a redesigned front with new grille and chrome details, 19-inch alloy wheels and a new rear spoiler.
Standard interior equipment includes leather seats, cruise control, power windows, a Bose audio system and automatic air conditioning. The car will start arriving in dealerships on Nov. 1 but orders are currently being accepted. Last September, the new CX-7 went on sale in Japan last month and is available in four body colors -- Radiant Ebony Mica, Galaxy Grey Mica, Crystal White Pearl Mica and Brilliant Black.
The base model CX-7 has sporty black fabric seat covers while the CX-7 Cruising Package offers luxurious black leather upholstery. Both model grades feature a multi-information display (MID), auto-light system (which automatically switches on the vehicle headlights according to ambient light conditions), rain-sensing wipers and Mazda's keyless entry and engine start system.
