2010 Mazda CX-9 and CX-7 Facelift making their debut at New York

2010 Mazda CX-9 Facelift
There will be three new vehicles that Mazda North America will be revealing at the 2009 New York International Auto Show which will consist of the widely modified 2010 CX-9 and CX-7 crossover SUVs and the much awaited high-performing 5-door compact Mazda Speed3. The Mazda booth will provide a press conference where the top official of the carmaker will address the press. The multi award-winning CX-9 is a seven-seat, three-row crossover SUV with special driving dynamics that is unparalleled in its category. The CX-9 for the MY 2010 will get an exterior and interior revision, more options and toughened up safety elements, while at the same time enhancing its Zoom-Zoom driving traits.
Building on the reputation of the preceding model, the 2010 Mazda Speed3 remains as one of the world's fastest front-wheel drive car. It combines five-door practicality with a more aggressive and exciting performance to meet the requirements of fans with dynamic lifestyles. Equipped with the MZR 2.3-liter direct injection turbo unit, the latest Mazda Speed3 combines first-class performance with Nagare (flow)-motivated design signals in both the car's interior and exterior. Having been introduced to the world at the Geneva Motor Show, the Mazda Speed3 is the third model in the lineup for the 2010 Mazda3, together with the 5-door and 4-door sedan Mazda3.
Meanwhile, the 2010 CX-7 gets a fresh exterior and interior styling together with a skew of safety, comfort, and engineering enhancements. Engine lineup for the CX-7 is headed by a brand new naturally ventilated DOHC 16-valve 2.5-liter MRZ 4-cylinder, married to a 5-speed auto transmission. Also to be continually offered is the well-known turbocharged 244hp DOHC 16-valve MZR Direct Injection Spark Ignition (DISI) 2.3-liter 4-cylinder. It was early this year at the Canadian International Auto Show that the CX-7 was introduced to the world. The whole range of Mazda cars will be showcased at the show including the 6, 5, RX-8 and the brand new 2010 Mazda3. the New York International Auto Show, which will be held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center will open for the public beginning April 10 to 19 this year.
