E-Class Cabrio by Carlsson
With a 21% power boost, Carlsson's tuning package for the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E350 CDI Cabriolet is sure to elicit a lot of attention. Aside from the considerable increase in power, this tuning package also boasts revisions to its exterior and interior. Carlsson tweaked the V6 engine resulting in an output of 280 PS (206 kW), with maximum torque boosted by 20% to an astounding 648 Nm. The Cabriolet was given a new engine control unit that's priced at EUR1,784, including a 19% value added tax.
A vehicle with this much power has to have the right sound, which Carlsson achieved by installing dual stainless steel tailpipes with a silencer, priced at EUR2,319. Sport springs that lower the car by 30-millimeters would add EUR355 to the total package cost. For the exterior, the tuning firm offers a front spoiler and an RS-inspired lip, both offered in carbon.
A rear spoiler can be ordered as well. These items are sold together for EUR1,698 but they can also be sold separately. The alloy wheels, which range from 16 to 20 inches, are priced up to EUR2,712. For the interior, the package includes leather and Alcantara gear selector, aluminum door accents, suede floor mats, and aluminum pedals. Carlsson E350 CDI Cabrio options will be offered soon.
