2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Convertible to be unveiled in Detroit

We know that the German manufacturer had been quite busy this year, revealing new models such as the brand new E-Class Sedan, Estate and Coupe, the SLR Stirling Moss but also the brand new SLS AMG sports car which will be unveiled next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Due to the fact that there were too many models it appears that Mercedes-Benz is going to uncover the brand new 2010 E-Class Cabrio next year, at the Detroit Auto Show. The new model will be offered with a stylish soft top capable to transform the car from a coupe to a convertible in just 20 seconds while under the hood will carry the same engines like the E-Class Coupe, three gasoline engines 204bhp turbo 1.8-liter four-pot in the E250 CGI, a 292bhp 3.5-liter V6 in the E350 CGI and a 388bhp 5.5-liter V8 in the E500 but also two diesel powerplants, a 204 bhp twin-turbo 2.2 in the E250 CDI and a 231bhp 3.0-liter V6 in the E350 CDI.
