The tuning specialists at Hamann have created a package that makes the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG even more awesome that it already is. The SLS is a very appealing contemporary supercar that offers a standout performance but to make it even more special, Hamann made some revisions here and there. First, the vehicle now has a new set of forged alloy rims.
The wheels, dubbed Design Edition Race "Anodized", use a cross-spokes design and feature a black matte finish. The rims also have titanium bolts that may be ultra-light but are very stable and corrosion resistant. The Hamann Design Edition Race "Anodized" is available in the following sizes: 9x21 inch for the front axle and 11x21 inch for the rear one. They are also wrapped in 245/30 (front) and 295/25 (rear) tires. These special wheels are priced at EUR10,500.
According to Hamann's press release, these wheels were made using the most modern manufacturing processes. The wheels emphasize the sporty design of the Coupe and guarantee the highest load bearing capacity with low weight owing to special aluminum alloys. Hamann's SLS is also equipped with a suspension that lowers the supercar by 30 mm, enhancing both the handling and the appearance.
