The new 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 DI-D JURO, which is the latest version of the Lancer hatchback, is priced from GBP14,999 in the UK. It will get an initial stock of 1,000 units. According to a company statement, the Lancer JURO offers outstanding equipment levels and value for money compared with its rivals in this segment. Mitsubishi said that “customers can book their demonstration with their local dealer now.” Mitsubishi said that with CO2 emissions level of 163g/km, the Lancer 2.0 DI-D JURO is categorized as VED Band G and therefore qualifies for GBP155 1st Year rate VED. The Lancer falls under insurance group 21E and its Mitsubishi Service Plan costs GBP315.
Highlights for the new Lancer hatch include black leather seats, a multimedia system from Kenwood, Garmin Satellite Navigation, reversing camera, iPod and Parrott Bluetooth connectivity. The Kenwood high specification multimedia system also consists of a steering wheel control interface for the operation of the factory-fitted steering wheel mounted controls.
The specifications list includes 16-inch 5-Spoke Alloy Wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, front fog lamps, steering wheel audio controls, leather steering wheel and gear shift knob, front and rear electric windows, iPod socket, electric and heated door mirrors, and color keyed rear spoiler. When it comes to safety, the Lancer JURO has been fitted with front, side, curtain and knee Airbags, brake assist (BA), emergency stop signal system (ESS), alarm/immobilizer, and ISOFIX child seat mounting points.
