The Qashqai's modifications are clearly emphasizing comfort and responsiveness. To reduce noise and vibration, more insulation material was added.
In particular, the front window seal was changed to limit the noise. When it comes to its appearance, the car was given a restyled front end, including new bonnet, front bumper, wings, grille and headlamps.
The only changes that can be observed on the rear are an aerodynamic tweak to reduce drag and revised light lenses. The dials were changed to make them easier to read. The footwell now has lights and storage areas have been extended.
Two color variants (red and grey) will also be added. Customers can opt for new alloy designs. Environment-conscious individuals might want to consider Pure Drive, a new eco version of the car that will be powered by the 1.5-liter diesel engine used by the Qashqai range. However, the Pure Drive is lighter and more aerodynamic, reducing CO2 emissions from 137g/km to 129g/km. Pure Drive carries a £16,795 price tag, making it £100 less than the equivalent engined and trimmed standard car.
