2010 Paris Motor Show: 2011 Peugeot 508

Peugeot introduced today the 2011 508 sedan and station wagon at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. The 508 range’s engine line-up will be composed of two petrol units and four diesel powerplants (which will all come with a Diesel Particulate Filter). These will be partnered with a six-speed manual gearbox or to a six-speed automatic transmission. Included in the petrol engine range is a 1.6 liter VTi that offers 120 hp and 160 Nm (144 grams of CO2 per km).
In addition, Peugeot offers a 1.6 liter THP generating 156 hp and 240 Nm of torque (149 grams of CO2 per Km for the manual box and 164 grams of CO2 per km for the automatic). The diesel line-up comprises a 1.6 liter HDI with an output of 112 hp and 285 Nm (109 g/km), a 2.0 liter HDI giving 140 hp and 340 Nm (125 g/km), a 163 hp version of the same engine (149 g/km) and a 2.2 liter HDI with 204 hp and 450 Nm (150 g/km).
There will also be a model that will use Peugeot’s HYbrid4 technology. This offers 200 hp, four-wheel drive and CO2 emissions of only 99 g/km. The interior is of very high quality and will feature color head-up display, four-zone air conditioning, and keyless entry and startup.
