Hyundai ix20 Sketch

Hyundai announced today that it will unveil at this year’s Paris Motor Show its new B-segment MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle), dubbed ix20. As you can see from the first sketch released by the Korean manufacturer, the new Hyundai ix20 shows the new model as a striking departure from the boxy ‘minivan’ image typically associated with the segment and adopts the a new and more dynamic, sportier profile in line with firm’s reputation as a modern, progressive automaker. Designed and developed at Hyundai’s European R&D centre in Rüsselsheim, Germany, the ix20 represents the second European car,

following the ix35, to adopt company’s Hyundai’s new ‘fluidic sculpture’ design language. Its name, ix20, reflects the model’s crossover-like versatility. Apparently, the new ix20 was built in order to simultaneously serve as a functional people-carrier while providing a dynamic, fun-to-drive experience.

And this is not all, as Hyundai will also introduce at the Paris Motor Show, its new i10, an upgraded version of its popular city car which will show a new set of enhancements in terms of design, specification and competiveness, as well as a brand new 1.0-litre engine with CO2 emissions of just 99 g/km.

Paris Motor Show will also see Hyundai’s latest developments of its Blue Drive eco-focused program.
