Porsche has announced the pricing for its next generation sports car, the new 2010 911 Turbo. The coupe version is priced at $132,800 while the convertible is priced at $143,800. Powering the car is a 3.8 Liter engine that now delivers 500 hp. Leading the innovations are a new expansion intake manifold called the Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) first seen on the GT2 and Porsche's exclusive turbocharger system with variable turbine geometry (VTG). The Sport Chrono Package Turbo, combined with the new PDK seven-speed transmission, allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. Also included in the Sport Chrono Package Turbo are Porsche‚ innovative dynamic engine mounts. Top track speed is 194 mph for both the Coupe and the Cabriolet models.
