2010 SEMA: Mopar and Rich Evans team up to build custom Dodge Challenger

At the 2010 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, one of the most anticipated is a one-off customized 2010 Dodge Challenger that was created by Chrysler Group's Mopar and Rich Evans. Mark your calendars for the SEMA show that will take place on November 3 - 6, 2010. Mopar is Chrysler's automobile parts and service arm and custom-car builder Rich Evans is well-known for TV appearances in TV shows like Pimp My Ride, Monster Garage, Man Cave and Chop, Cut & Rebuild.

Evans also recently introduced "The Rides of Rich Evans," a new iPhone App. Pietro Gorlier, President & CEO, Mopar Service, Parts & Customer Care, Chrysler Group LLC, credited Evans for having designed a few of the "most remarkable customized rides on the street today." Gorlier added that the Mopar SEMA project will demonstrate to customers what they can create with proven, quality-tested Mopar parts and accessories. 

Evans will be using Mopar parts, along with a few parts that he modified. Fans would be pleased to know that he will document his work in a series of podcast videos uploaded to Mopar's YouTube channel. In addition, Evans will be judging on the new tuner category of the Mopar "Top Eliminator" program. Expect to view all "Top Eliminator" winners to be showcased in the Mopar Alley at the 2010 SEMA Show. Evans expressed his excitement at being able to partner with Mopar on new projects. He thinks that with the new 'Top Eliminator' tuner award and the SEMA-car, the young Next-Gen crowd as current fans will surely turn their attention to their stand.
