2010 SEMA Preview: Renntech C74 Konzept based on Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

Renntech C74 Konzept

A new complete modification package for the C63 AMG, dubbed the Renntech C74 Konzept, is being offered by Renntech, one of America’s top Mercedes-Benz tuners. This package boosts the vehicle’s 6.2 liter V8 to 605 hp and a peak torque of 555 lb-ft. As a result, the saloon is able to hit the quarter mile in 11.4 seconds (@126 mph) and can reach a top speed of 204 mph (328 km/h).

The “74” designation refers to the width of the rear wheel track (74 inches), which permits the fitting of 11 inch rims with 315 mm tires for the power-handling axle. The vehicle is offered with a set of carbon fiber exterior elements that enhance both the appearance and its aerodynamics. The standard AMG rims were replaced with custom three-piece 19 and 20 inch wheels. [via Autoblog]
