2010 Skoda Superb Combi unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show
Arrival date for the 2010 Skoda Superb Estate is slated for next spring. The model, which was officially unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, is predicted to have a third of overall Superb sales, representing more than 1,500 units sold each year.
It’s notable that majority of sales is expected to come from fleet operators instead of private buyers. Styling on the car is Octavia-inspired. Also featured are a power panoramic roof and an electric tailgate. Stashed away in the roof is a magnetic torch that can be unclipped. While taller at the back, the estate retains the same length, wheelbase and width as the conventional Superb. Rear seating was revised to increase load space. Three petrols and three diesels from the current Superb range, linked to five and six-speed gearboxes are on the lineup. DSG dual-clutch transmissions will also be an option. Also available is a model with a Haldex developed four-wheel drive system linked to the Superb’s 3.6-litre V6 and the DSG gearbox to create a sports estate model. No prices were indicated but as soon as we will find out something we will let you know! Photo gallery after the jump!
