An upgraded 0.8-liter diesel model will be added to Smart's Fortwo range later this year. This is very good news as the model will get 21% more power (up to 54bhp) and 18% more torque (96lb ft) than the current model; however, its fuel consumption and CO2 emissions will not be affected.
Despite the modifications, the engine is still Euro5-compliant. You could choose either a coupe or convertible form. The new model has some equipment, including a folding armrest, a hands-free system, and a color multimedia display. Pricing starts at €11,790!
