Subaru has revealed the full specs and pricing of its new Legacy Tourer that is currently on sale. In the UK , only the estate model will be available. That's too bad for those who have been waiting for the saloon model. The Legacy Tourer is claimed to have increased space and comfort for all occupants, improved dynamics and refinement, and enhanced safety. All models will be sold with four-wheel drive. Buyers can choose between two horizontally opposed engines: a 2.0-liter diesel and a 2.5-liter petrol. The diesel engine allows the car to go 0-62mph in 9.6secs and to achieve a top speed of 120mph. Combined fuel economy is at 46.3mpg, while CO2 emissions are 161g/km. On the other hand, the 165bhp, 169lb ft petrol model allows for the capacity to go 0-62mph in 10.3secs with a top speed 120mph.
It will also be equipped with Subaru's new Lineartronic automatic transmission. Revisions in its interior include a headroom raised by 21mm compared to the previous model. In addition, legroom for rear-seat passengers increases by 99mm, aided by an 80mm increase in wheelbase. Compared to the previous model, the boot space of the new Legacy Tourer is expanded by 67 liters to 526 liters and when the 60/40 split seats are folded flat, it can then hold 1,677 liters. Standard kit includes alloy wheels, tilt-and-slide sunroof, heated front seats, six CD tuner with RDS and six speakers, dual-zone automatic air-conditioning, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, and automatic activation for wipers and headlights. Prices start from £23,295 for the diesel and £25,295 for the petrol.
