First we were not sure about these images if they are real or not but the guys from Jalopnik confirmed that this is the new generation of the Prius due to a talk with Toyota PR. The images confirm that the new vehicle is based on the currently Prius due to the shape it has but also reveal the new design line that Toyota adopted with the new Avensis. According to our sources the new Toyota Prius will make its debut in 2009 at the Detroit Motor Show so it means that we must wait a while until we will se the car. Until then check the Fiat Punto Natural Power, another eco-friendly vehicle!
