The Volvo C30 1.6D DRIVe already has a following due to its eco-friendly technologies like stop/start with a brake-energy recovery system and a fuel consumption of 3.9 liters per 100km. But Heico Sportiv wanted to prove that those who like the car for these qualities can also experience the pleasure of driving. Heico Sportiv general manager Holger Hedtke said that the aerodynamically optimized components such as the radiator grille or under-floor were untouched. The tuning package made power and torque increase from 80kW (109 bhp) and 240Nm to 92kW (125 bhp) and 280Nm respectively. The car is claimed to have a 0 - 100km/h sprint time of 9.2 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h. Heico Sportiv said that its car is 2.1 seconds quicker than the stock car. For its exterior, the tuner added a front spoiler, sport rims in 18 and 19-inch size in three colors, and a stainless steel double and quad pipe exhaust system. A differential lock further enhances performance. The tuners also lowered the sports suspension by 30mm. Interior accessories include aluminum or leather-covered handbrake, door pin set and gear lever grip.
