2010 Volvo C70

If you saw Volvo's 2010 C70 at the Frankfurt Motor Show and liked it, you'd want to know this. The British division of Volvo Cars has unveiled the pricing for the 2010 C70. Three trims will be available: S, SE and SE Lux. There will be four engine versions, two diesels and two petrols. Pricing for the C70 range starts at 25,995 British pounds ($41,500) for the 2.0D S. In particular, the S version comes equipped with Volvo's WHIPS (Whiplash Protection System), plus ECC (Electronic Climate Control), 16-inch Castula alloy wheels, front fog lights, power windows, information centre, cruise control, floor mats and Performance Sound Audio System.

The next trim option, the SE, comes with all features as the S version but added to it are 17-inch Sirona alloy wheels, auto-folding power door mirrors with ground lights and rear park assist. Aluminum trim, Bluetooth hands-free system, auto-dimming rear view mirror and High Performance Sound Audio System are also available. The third trim option, the SE Lux trim, comprises Leather-faced upholstery, power driver's seat and active bending lights with headlamp cleaning system.

Fedde Talsma, Exterior Chief Designer at Volvo Cars, said that the new C70 has a "clearer, more pronounced face." He added that its natural elegance has been modernized so it blends seamlessly with the most up-to-date and the most sophisticated backdrops. As for its interior, the focus was to give the owner a "stronger perception of being rewarded behind the wheel." The seat's upholstery is composed of a new type of soft hide. It also has better detail finish.
