2010 Volvo XC60 priced from $42,400

2010 Volvo XC60 R-DesignVolvo fans can expect that in the coming year, the R-Design package to the XC60 will be released. Priced from $42,400, the 2010 Volvo XC60 has sportier driving dynamics and looks. Actually, a standard Volvo XC60 T6 starts at just over $39,000.

Standard equipment includes the top-of-the-line 281-hp turbocharged six-cylinder engine, leather interior, 18-inch wheels, numerous airbags, Bluetooth, and all-wheel-drive. The XC60 R-Design is available for $3,900 more. Aside from the standard equipment offered on the XC60 T6, the car also has a stiffer chassis with a revised suspension, unique 20-inch five-spoke wheels, color matched body trim, sports seats, and a unique “metallic-themed” interior. As a result, the XC60 is sportier and gives a more refined driving experience.

Buyers may also opt to fit the car with a climate package ($1000) which includes heated front and rear seats, heated windshield washer nozzles, and rain sensing wipers; the multimedia package ($2700) with a premium audio system, navigation with real time traffic updates, and a rearview camera; and the technology package ($1700) that includes adaptive cruise control, collision warning with automatic braking, driver alert control, and lane departure warning.
