This is the brand new Vw Amarok, a new pick-up from the German manufacturer which will make its official debut in Europe by mid-2010. As you may know already, the new Amarok will be the official support vehicle for the 2010 Dakar Rally held in Argentina, and promises to be quite a competitor for the Japanese and American pick-ups.

Based on the Vw Pickup Concept showed back in 2008, the new vehicle will offer three trim levels: Trendline, Comfortline and Highline. Under the hood we will have the 2.0-liter TDI engine capable to develop 122 hp and 340 Nm of torque as well as 163 hp and 400 Nm of torque (same engine, two different power levels).
