2010 Vw Sharan priced from €28,875

Volkswagen's new van, the 2010 Sharan, is now out and can be ordered in Germany starting March 25. The Sharan 1.4 TSI Trendline is priced from €28,875. Powering this model is a 110 kW / 150 hp high-tech petrol engine, which only consumes 7.2 l/100 km. This car boasts of having improved technology and equipment levels. It even has sliding doors in the rear. But what would please consumers is the fact that the new car is €2475 cheaper than its predecessor.
The van is also less expensive than the turbo diesel. Meanwhile, the Sharan Trendline 2.0 TDI -- with 103 kW, 140 PS and a 5.5 l/100 km fuel consumption it has a price tag of €30,950, making it €1,900 cheaper than its predecessor. Both engine versions are supplied as standard and they're featured with a start-stop system and the recovery fitted kinetic energy technology. This year, Volkswagen is set to launch more versions: the Sharan TDI (125 kW / 170 hp) and the TSI (147 kW / 200 hp). For the first time ever, all the Sharan models will have the innovative dual-clutch gearbox (DSG). Buyers may opt to get the 5 -, 6 - or 7-seater Sharan in three equipment versions: Trendline, Comfortline and Highline. The standard features for these equipment versions include the following: air conditioning, new seating concept Easyfold, a radio-CD system, seven airbags including knee airbag, ESP, daytime running lights and up to 2430 liters of cargo volume
