2011 Acura TSX
The refreshed 2011 Acura TSX sedan made its debut today at the 2010 LA Auto Show, and promises to offer plenty of upgrades in order to remain a top choice in its class. Let’s start with the exterior design. According to Acura, the 2011 model year TSX sedan comes with a a new front fascia, revised chin spoiler, new fog light garnish assembly and an updated grill. Furthermore, the car features new underbody panels to improve aerodynamics, while the rear end is fitted with revised taillights and an updated rear license plate garnish. 17-inch 5-spoke aluminum wheels are offered as standard for the model fitted with the 2.4L 4-cylinder engine, while the 18-inch 5-spoke aluminum wheels remain standard for the 3.5L V-6 model.
Inside, the car received several upgrades, such as revised styling for the center console, darker trim pieces, brightly finished door handles, an updated parking brake handle and new garnishes for the steering wheel. In addition, the car features contrasting-color stitching for the leather seats, door armrests and center console, while the rear seats get extra comfort thanks to the addition of heating/cooling vents.
New for 2011, is the availability of the Technology Package featuring LED backlit full VGA navigation screen (that generates 400-percent better resolution than before), improved navigation system functions (faster performance, improved search ability and expanded map coverage), Song By Voice (SBV) user interface, a 60-gigabyte hard disk drive (HDD) system. The car offers two engines: a 2.4-liter inline four cylinder engine and a more potent 3.5-liter V6. The 2011 Acura TSX will hit the dealerships on November 23 with a base price of $29,610 (with the 2.4L I-4 engine) for both manual and automatic transmission models, and $32,710 for the same model featuring the Technology package. The model powered by a 3.5L V-6 engine will carry a base price of $35,150, or $38,250 when equipped with the Technology Package.
