Alfa Romeo has revealed the 2011 159 at the Paris Motor Show. Aside from the 2011 Alfa Romeo 159 model, the Giulietta was also be presented with two new engines. The interior of the saloon and the sportwagon versions of the model were recently updated. Optional packages are also being offered. Those who visit Alfa Romeo’s booth will see a Sportwagon in the exclusive "Rosso Competizione" livery.

This vehicle will be featured with the new 136 hp 2.0 JTDM engine (Euro 5), which complements the Euro 5 diesel range for the 159. In a statement, the company revealed that the power unit can “achieve a compromise between the needs of private customers who seek a lively yet frugal car and those of fleet customers who are concerned with running costs but do not wish to neglect comfort and driving flexibility over long distances.”

The car that will be displayed is fitted with a TI Pack that makes the car sportier. The Alfa Romeo 159 exteriors are customized with 18-inch "turbine" design alloy wheels (a 19-inch spoked design is offered as an option), low sports ride, side skirts and oversized red brake calipers. The car’s interior gets wraparound seats trimmed in black leather and Alcantara with red profiles, sports pedal unit in aluminum and a kick plate with the TI logo, sports-steering wheel in leather with radio controls, gear lever knob and handbrake lever trimmed in leather with red stitching, Blue&Me system and sports instruments. The car that will be showcased also has new carbon fiber inserts (offered as an option) on the central console and steering wheel.
