2011 Bentley Continental GT

Bentley announced today that the introduction of the new 2011 Continental GT at this year’s Paris Motor Show was a success and the new coupe received critical acclaim. The visitors were impressed by the new design of the Continental GT and all the important automotive magazines had only positive feedback. Honestly to tell you we were impressed two by the new Continental GT, because it refines a little the design of the old model. The 2011 Continental GT is powered by a 6.0-liter W12 engine delivering 575PS (567bhp/423kW) and 700Nm (516lb ft) of torque and uses a new Quickshift transmission which enables double downshifts.

However, Bentley announced that it will introduce a smaller V8 engine which could use the dual-clutch Audi S Tronic transmission. Powered by the W12 engine, the car hits 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds (0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds), 100mph in 10.2 seconds (0-160km/h in 10.2 seconds) and has a top speed of 198 mph (318km/h).

The engine uses standard unlead petrol (gasoline), but can also use bioethanol (up to E85) or any mix of the two. The interior of the car is entirely hand-crafted and promises to offer the same driving experience expected from a Bentley.
